Project Overview
As the Webmaster for Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) at California State University, Fullerton, I was solely responsible for managing and maintaining the student government’s website, which served as the central hub for student engagement. The site, which accrued over 1.1 million page views annually, housed essential information on student events, clubs, organizations, and government initiatives, ensuring students had access to the resources they needed to enhance their college experience.
I began this role before even attending my first college class, stepping into a position that required technical expertise and a deep understanding of web infrastructure. The website was managed entirely through hard-coded PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a strong grasp of front-end and back-end development. By maintaining and optimizing the platform, I played a crucial role in keeping students informed, connected, and engaged throughout their academic journey.
