As an ADA / WCAG Compliance Consultant for McCormack Baron Salazar, I conducted comprehensive audits and enhancements on over 100 websites, ensuring compliance with ADA regulations and WCAG 2.1 standards. My role involved implementing web accessibility best practices to meet both legal requirements and ethical standards, improving digital accessibility for all users.

- Audited websites for accessibility issues, identifying and addressing WCAG 2.1 compliance gaps.
- Implemented necessary adjustments directly where access permitted and submitted detailed tickets for changes requiring additional development.
- Optimized website elements for screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, and color contrast improvements.
- Ensured forms, interactive components, and multimedia elements adhered to accessibility guidelines.
- Collaborated with stakeholders to align compliance efforts with business and user needs.

Many of these websites were built on the RentCafe platform, requiring strategic modifications within available access permissions. Where direct edits were not possible, I facilitated necessary updates by submitting and tracking tickets to ensure full compliance.
